In January 2nd, the reporter learned from the Shanghai Institute of science and technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) that "Chang'e" and "Jade Rabbit" went to the moon smoothly and carried out their work, and "customized" more than 10 kinds of magical materials and components. Up to now, these materials are excellent, and have been affirmed by the deputy director of the exploration and space engineering center of the national defense Bureau and vice chief of the lunar exploration engineering, Pei Zhaoyu and other experts.
 
It is understood that these key materials will help Chang'e spend the night of 180 degrees below zero, and escort the scientific exploration task in the future.
 
Tao Shunyan, a researcher at the special inorganic coating Laboratory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, told reporters that the temperature control, wear-resistance and attitude control of the Chang'e lander and the inspector were only a few microns in thickness, up to 1 millimeters thick, but they had to withstand the "two days of ice fire" from 1450 degrees Celsius to minus 180 degrees Celsius. The functions of these coatings are different. For example, the silver bullet of the lunar rover is a large area anti-static F46 silver plated thermal control coating. For example, the "skirt" around the 7500 Newton main engine creates a thermal barrier over 1000 degrees Celsius between the engine flame and the protected electronic components.  Besides, panoramic camera, X ray spectrometer and infrared imaging spectrometer used thermal control coatings to resist the harsh environment of the moon.
 
It is introduced that the key scientific load of Chang'e three, "red eye" infrared imaging spectrometer of "Jade Rabbit", uses the 2 large size and high quality tellurium oxide acoustooptic crystal developed by Shanghai silicate through the exclusive "secrets", which makes the spectral range and quality control of the spectrometer better than the foreign products of the same kind.
 
It is reported that the two tellurium oxide acoustooptic crystal will continue to play a role on the load of "Chang'e five", and the spectral detection will be extended to a wider range of wavelengths to provide multi angle and panoramic images with multiple scanning imaging techniques. At the same time, the "ultrasonic motor" made by the new piezoelectric ceramics is the first technology to be applied to aerospace engineering in China.
 
"Piezoceramic is the heart of an ultrasonic motor." Dong Xianlin, a researcher at the Shanghai Silicate Institute, said that the piezoelectric ceramics of the Institute had superior performance, guaranteed the strong electric power of the ultrasonic motor and could withstand the temperature difference of the moon. After the success of the "Jade Rabbit", the technology of ultrasonic motor is also expected to continue to be applied to "Chang'e five" and other satellites.
 
At the same time, the main mirror, secondary mirror and pointing mirror of Chang'e three moon based optical telescope were developed by Shanghai silicate. They used high density silicon carbide special ceramics. Liu Xuejian, the Shanghai Institute of silicates, said that the ceramic material is light in quality, high in thermal conductivity, and with good face stability. It can work steadily at a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius, even if the deformation caused by thermal expansion and contraction is very small, which provides a guarantee for the imaging quality of the telescope.
